Miss The Bedfordview Night Market? Try Benoni Early November

The Bedfordview Night market on October 30th sounded like a bucketful of summer fun under the stars. But if you missed it, the East Rand steps up in early November with the Benoni Night Market. The “Epic Feast in the East” on the East Rand comes on the first Friday of the month. And, Bedfordview usually comes at the end of the month.

Bedfordview Night Market Gauteng returns November 27th

Reviewing the October 30th market, one person on Facebook, Jenny Ungerer Brandon, noted, “We enjoyed the outing!!!! Thank you for the lovely munchers and drunkies!!!! We will park our vehicle again on 27 Nov. Can’t wait.” And, another person noted that it seems well-organised. But on the downside, others noted that some people visiting the market seemed a bit lax with social distancing and wearing masks.

Hopefully, people take a bit more care because people really enjoy the evenings at the night markets. The next event, already advertised comes along on November 27th. The Night Markets website describes it as, “a delicious blend of food stalls, with 30 or more food cultures represented.” Plus, expect “an eclectic mix of craft stalls, live entertainment, craft beer, cocktails, wine and shooter bar and a kids corner.”

Benoni market comes on November 6

If you missed the Bedfordview Night market, and the end of November seems too far away, stress not. The Benoni Night Market event next comes on November 6th. The Facebook page for Benoni notes that “The Benoni Night Market [takes place] on the first Friday of every month at Old Ben’s Club.” You’ll find it located at the corner of President Brand and President Boshoff. Again, food, drinks, crafts and an opportunity to hang with family and friends comes along.

Starting at 5.00 p.m, please take care about wearing masks. After all, summer just arrived and the evenings are pleasantly warm. Let’s try and take care so the markets continue without more restrictions for COVID-19. Pick u some yummy treats, or browse the crafts for some Christmas gifts. And, if you’re in the East Rand, why not also try out the new bakery called George’s Bread & Co. You’ll find it at the Rynfield Shopping Centre at 35 Miles Sharp Street.
